Sheer 2017 is the latest generation of Sheer, operating for 8 years. It is created by Oitswilliam Pang in November 11, 2016. Besides the Bedrock survival world 1.16 from Minecraft Survival Livestreams, this is another one of the currently running worlds and the only early-day project that was not listed in Legacy Projects.
Features[]
Sheer 2017 has initial pending environment, which prevents hackers from accessing. It has anti-access for guest to prevent item fraud, or unauthorized use. The second house has interchangeable minecart station, which every road is parallel to the exit station, but not series to each other, this makes the station experimental.
Initial creation[]
Sheer 2017 was created because the classic Sheer used superflat world, which had no biomes other than Plains.
3A's[]
3A's is a command-based anti-stealing, anti-accessing and anti-processing system that prevents intruders and tamperers from reaching their goals. The following preventive features include:
- It prevents unauthorized access to the base bedroom, due to it being disgraceful, and storage room, to prevent theft.
- It prevents game mode changes for guests.
- It prevents users that aren't finalized from surfing around, to prevent abuse of cheats or hacks.
Places, buildings and rooms[]
This lists all of the inform-able places, buildings and rooms that Sheer is available.
Oitswilliam's main base[]
The base is located at the top of the village, it has two floors, above from the village. It was completely organized comparing to Sheer 2015. It has bedroom, crafting room, storage room, rabbit pet room and a minecart link to Development Center.
Bedroom[]
This room allows a player to sleep. It is protected by 3A's to only gain access by the owner of this world.
Rabbit Pet[]
This is a room for Oitswilliam's pet rabbits.
Storage room[]
This room allows a player to store or pick things for something. It is protected by 3A's to only gain access by the owner of this world. This room is located above the main floor of the base.
Development Center[]
Development Center is a shopping mall with some big department store available. Stores can be named and opened by Oitswilliam's follower requests. It has a minecart link to Oitswilliam's main base.
It was originally called "Development House" but since it is not a house, it was then called "Development Centre", and now called Development Center, after translating to American English.
Hotels[]
Hotels on Development Center is the removed feature that were used to make temporary living places for guests who are interested at Sheer 2017 and was surfing in Sheer 2017.
Second house[]
A second house is more experiential than the main house, it has multiple links to any room, however it has selected the most relevant things (such as. Farms).
Ground Floor[]
Interchangeable Minecart Station[]
Interchangeable Minecart Station is a feature that any players can change depending their needs, including:
- Animal Farm
- Plant Farm
- Outdoor
- Indoor
- Storage
- Link to Ocean Ruins
Animal Farm[]
Each Animal Farm are sorted separately room-by-room. Other animals can be bred, except parrots, as they cannot be bred.
Every room contains each of the following animals:
Plant Farm[]
Plant farms are used to farm every plants from wheat to melon. These also include carrots, potatoes, pumpkin and beetroots.
Indoor farm and outdoor farm has the same feature, except on what their location is relied to.
Storage[]
This link allows players to store their blocks and items. It has 4 guest chests and the owner's chests.
Kitchen[]
This allows players to put items in the chests that listed foods. It also allow players to get raw food by going and pressing the deliver button, and cook the food by two smokers. Originally, furnaces were used for cooking before 1.14 compatible upgrade.
Bedroom[]
This room is reserved for villagers to sleep.
First Floor[]
Storage room[]
This room is used to let players store own things when living. Each chest sorts the category of either blocks or items sorted by uses.
Bedroom[]
This room lets both villagers and players to sleep, and potentially skip a night. Red bed indicates for the player, and white bed indicates for the villagers. It has a balcony for outdoor sightseeing.
Second Floor[]
This floor was built since Revision 2. It has rooms which are reserved, including stone-cutters and grindstone, and has a bedroom that is reserved for the villagers. This floor is located at the above, front and left part of the first floor. As of this, it has the largest amount of outdoor space ever above the floor. It also has a separate balcony, which is accessed through the crowded stairs.
Third Floor[]
The third floor was also built since Revision 2. This floor is the top floor ever for this house, it is also reserved mostly for villagers only. It has loom and beds. It also has balcony. It is located above the second floor and can be accessed through stairs.
Dedicated Server[]
Sheer Dedicated Server is a semi-public server that only followers of Oitswilliam can surf around. It was pre-tested on June and August of 2020. It requires the latest version of Minecraft, either Vanilla or with whitelisted mods, and in July 2021 it supports both Java and Bedrock Edition.
Server visibility[]
This server went semi-public on July 9, 2021 with unscheduled timing. Oitswilliam Pang announced that it will only allow their subscribers to join in, and spectate in this server on their own.
Joining and Whitelisting[]
All players who want to spectate in Sheer 2017 should first verify themselves subscribed to Oitswilliam's YouTube channel or is following him in other social platforms, and fill the form. Submitted forms will be checked by Sheer Server form administrators, including the creator by determining the user's forms.
Moderators[]
Sheer Dedicated Server has moderators to protect the creators' structures from being damaged by vandals or simply rule-breakers.

Anti-cheat[]
Sheer Dedicated Server has two anti-cheat systems including 3A's from the world before and external anti-cheat system.
Rules and policy[]
Players whose joined must agree to Sheer Dedicated Server Usage Policy before joining, if they were punished for breaking the rules, they can receive mute, kick or ban depending on how severe they violate.

Trivia[]
- Just after a year, but before a month left for original Sheer's second anniversary, Sheer 2017 was created.
- Sheer 2017 does not feature game rule settings as a place, due to lack of use.
- Rabbit Farm has the largest space while Cow farm has the smallest space. This is probably because the creator preferred rabbits for being reliable.
